I have been painting seriously for the past 12 years. I am a self-taught artist. I am a member of a co-op gallery called Art at the Main. Art at the Main is located inside the beautiful Salt Lake City public library in downtown Salt Lake City. I paint from my studio at home. I paint with acrylics on canvas or panel. I paint from photographs that either I have taken or from others that are given to me for a commission. My style is realism and my subjects vary from people, portraits, animals, cars, trains, landscapes, boats, seascapes, floral, nature, architecture, etc. I enjoy doing commissions and have done many. I love the challenge that art presents and will continue as long as it’s challenging and enjoyable. I will continue turning out works that are (hopefully) of interest, thought provoking and pleasing to the eye.
